1. About these terms
These terms apply to any tour, transfer, visa-processing or other service booked with Destiny Center Safaris Limited (“we”, “us”), whether arranged through this website, by phone or by email. Booking any service with us means you accept these terms.
2. Quotes and bookings
Prices shown on this site are indicative starting prices per person and can change based on group size, season, and park permit fees, which are set by Uganda Wildlife Authority and similar bodies outside our control. A booking is only confirmed once we've issued a written quote and received your deposit.
3. Payment
We typically require a deposit to confirm a booking, with the balance due before departure — the exact split and due dates are set out in your quote, since gorilla and chimpanzee trekking permits are often paid for in full and in advance on your behalf. Accepted payment methods are bank transfer, mobile money, and Visa/Mastercard.
4. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation terms vary depending on how far in advance you cancel and whether permits or accommodation have already been paid for on your behalf — gorilla and chimp permits, in particular, are non-refundable once booked with Uganda Wildlife Authority. Your written quote will set out the specific cancellation schedule for your trip. Date changes are accommodated where possible, subject to permit and accommodation availability.
5. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for holding a valid passport, any required visas, and travel insurance that covers your activities (including gorilla/chimp trekking where applicable). We recommend cover that includes emergency evacuation.
6. Our liability
We take reasonable care in selecting guides, drivers, and accommodation partners. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control — including weather, wildlife behaviour, government or park authority decisions, flight delays, or other force majeure events — though we will do what we reasonably can to adjust your itinerary if these occur.
7. Photos and reviews
With your permission, we may use photos taken during your trip and reviews you share with us for marketing purposes. Tell us if you'd prefer we didn't.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
